Where is Asbury First United Methodist Church and how do I get there?
Asbury First United Methodist Church is located at 1040 East Avenue in downtown Rochester.
Where do I park?
Ample, free parking is available behind the church in the main lot accessed from East Avenue or Granger Place. Additional parking is available in an adjacent lot accessed from the rear (northwest corner) of the main lot or University Avenue.
Can I reserve seats?
Seating is open, first come, first served. Limited, open reserved seating is included with the purchase of a Premium Series Subscription.
Are there accessible seats?
Yes. Please speak with an usher to be directed to accessible seating.
Will ASL interpretation and assistive listening devices be available?
RSS events will be ASL (American Sign Language) interpreted. Reserved seating with clear sight lines to the interpreters is available. Please let an usher know so that you can be seated for the best possible viewing.
Asbury First is also equipped with assistive listening devices ("ALD") and hearing loop. Please speak with an usher if you would like an ALD for the program.
What is the program schedule?
Doors will open at 6:15pm. The program will begin promptly at 7:00pm. The speaker will present
for approximately 45-50 minutes followed by 10-15 minutes of questions from the audience.
Will books be available for purchase?
Signed books by Min Jin Lee are available for pre-sale at The Unreliable Narrator will be available for pickup at the October event. Additional copies will be available for purchase at the event.
Do I need to read the books before I attend?
Not at all! Some of the most exciting events are those where you are introduced to a new author. The events are intended for those who are curious as well as those who are already fans.
Why did I only get one ticket in my subscription?
Your subscription purchase provides entry to all RSS events in a season with one ticket. You do not need individual tickets for each event.
What if the event is cancelled?
In the highly unlikely event that the program is cancelled, it will be rescheduled.
What if it turns out that I can’t attend? Will you provide refunds?
Although we don’t provide refunds, if you are unable to attend, you may give your ticket to a friend or contact us two business days in advance to donate it. We will distribute your ticket through our Community Outreach Fund.
